The Energy Futures Initiative (EFI) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to driving innovation in energy tech, policy & business models. EFI was founded in 2017 by former U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest J. Moniz with Principals Melanie Kenderdine and Joseph Hezir. EFI conducts objective, fact-based and rigorous technical, economic, financial and policy analyses supported by a multidisciplinary network of experts. EFI focuses on solutions that are effective, pragmatic and acceptable to the broadest possible set of stakeholders. EFI takes great ideas and turns them into meaningful actions.
